Lakeside Chevrolet of Huntington Fun Fridays Coming in 2024
Bunker Hill, IN (December 20, 2023) Bunker Hill Dragstrip is excited to announce an expanded partnership with Lakeside Chevrolet of Huntington for the upcoming 2024 season. This past year, Lakeside Chevrolet of Huntington worked with Bunker Hill Dragstrip to put on an employee appreciation event, where Lakeside employees were able to race against each other in their own class, during a Summit Super Series Race at the historic dragstrip. The winner of their employee appreciation race then got to face off against veteran Brandts Heating and Cooling Modified racer, Mike Finney, who is also employed by the dealership. Everyone who attended had a really good time, and can’t wait to do it again in 2024.
In addition to the Lakeside Chevrolet of Huntington employee appreciation event, in 2024, the dealership will also have naming rights to the open Test and Tune sessions that take place most Friday nights at Bunker Hill Dragstrip. When racers see that Lakeside Chevrolet of Huntington Fun Friday is on the schedule, they will know that the track is having an open test and tune session.
Friday night test and tune is a staple at Bunker Hill Dragstrip. No different than the showroom at the dealership, there are a variety of vehicles that spectators can expect to see at a Lakeside Chevrolet of Huntington Fun Friday Open Test and Tune.
“We have everything from street cars to dragsters that show up for our test and tunes,” explains track owner Terry McMillen. “What makes our test and tune sessions so much fun is that you never know what kind of race cars you will see. It is a laid back atmosphere, where anyone can make passes without the pressure of race day. We are excited to have Lakeside Chevrolet of Huntington support our popular test and tune events”.
